JUST IN: EJIMA IGWE DIBIA ALIAS DON WANNI LIVES ON AS THE PROVERBIAL CAT WITH 9 LIVES

The alleged dreaded and notorious leader of an armed militia group in Omoku, Rivers State, Ejima IGWE Dibia alias "Don wanni" earlier reported dead seems to be a case of a mistaken identity.

He had earlier been reported to have been killed by Combined force of OSPAC (Onelga Security outfit) and Security Agents in the state, who engaged him in a gun duel that lasted for hours.

New available informations reveals that his corpse is yet to be seen as he may have escaped through the river at the back of his house, after sustaining some injuries.

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Govt. Council (ONELGA)  Hon.(Barr.) Osi Olisa had earlier in a press statement condemned in strong terms the dastardly killings of two OSPAC personnel and a civilian in Okposi and Omoku respectively, describing it as "vicious and despicable ".

The statement accused the ex-agitator,  Don Wanni and "forces" loyal to him of behind the  violent attack, and urged OSPAC and other security outfits to get to the bottom of the matter.

This led to the raid on Don wanni's residence.

His body which was said to be lying at the council secretariat, which called the attention of several indigenes to confirm for themselves, surprisingly, there were no corpse of Don Wanni.
