BAYELSA CELEBRATES WORLD YOUTH DAY AS COCODIA, BARA, ATTI, TARIPORI   CALLS ON UNITY.

-Comr. Atti urges youths/students to be productive.

- Bayelsa volunteer chairman advises youths to engage in agriculture/sports.

YENAGOA: Today 12th August  is reckoned as youths day all over the world. Bayelsa state is not left out of the celebration as Hon. IBarakumo Otobo (Special Adviser to the Governor on Youths and Chairman Bayelsa State Volunteer), Mr. Kemela Okara (Commissioner for Trade and industry), Hon. Collins Cocodia (Commissioner for Youths development), Barr. Tari Porri (S.A Youths development, ekelga), Hon. Comr Atti Joshua  Moses (leader Nigeria Youth Parliament, Bayelsa youths chapter/SSA to Dickson on students management) all gathered at the IZON HOUSE to celebrate the youths and urges them to be law abiding and productive.

The Bayelsa state Governor who was abliy represented by the commissioner for Youths Development, Hon. Collins cocodia congratulated Bayelsa state youths and tasked them to be self profitable , hardworking and peaceful to enhance personal/ state development.

In further lecture, the Commissioner for Trade and investment who was also represented urged Bayelsa state youths to imbibe the spirit of entrepreneurship, skill acquisition and education for sustainable society building.

'' If we as youths shuns violence, pipeline vandalism, cult practices and put our hands on useful projects the state and country at large will grow beyond the current condition '', Comr. Atti Moses said. He further thanked Gov. Seriake Dickson for his love and support for the Bayelsa state youths, also urged him to do more.

Further, the ssa to the state Governor on Youths development, Ekelga and Deputy speaker of the IYC mobile parliament, spoke, he graciously felicitated with youths and urges them to be patient with government as the ongoing plans of his Excellency to diversify the economy will yield lots of positive fruits on the part of all Bayelsa state youths.

On the final note, Special Adviser to Governor on Youth and Chairman Bayelsa State Volunteer Hon. IBarakumo Otobo also congratulated Bayelsa state youths and wished them a happy youth day. He went on to advise them to engage in Agriculture, small medium scale business, sports, skills, education and other programmes for the growth and development of the Bayelsa state youth.
