Ijaw community receives support from house member to construct floating latrine

An Ijaw community in Bayelsa, Agorogbene in Sagbama local government area, is said to have received financial support from the member representing the constituency in the Bayelsa state house of assembly, Hon. Bernard Kenebai, as part of donations in supporting the community in construction of a floating latrine.

The house member who is currently seeking reelection, has been brought under criticisms, over what many described as a misplaced priority.

It was reported that the community youth leadership requested support from the member to alleviate their plight, who in turn responded, by donating to the said floating latrine project.

The people of the area are yet to be greeted with any constituency project, as indigents continue to lament of blackouts and inaccessible roads to their community.
