$350m Abacha Loot: Share amongst all states, Nigerian Youth leader tells FG, Says all states are victims of corruption.

Nigerian Youth leader and secretary Nigerian Youth Parliament, south-South caucus, Comr. Atti J. Moses,  has said the plan by the Nigerian Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari to share the $350million loot recovered from former military ruler, late Gen. Sani Abacha among estimated 300,000 households living in poverty is a monumental injustice that is about to be meted on Nigerians again.

Comr. Atti, in a statement on Monday via his media aide, Reginald Tobin, obtained by Bodmas Newsblog, noted that it is a wrong arithmetic to target only 19 states Economically disadvantaged and whom are victims of corruption, stating that almost all states in Nigeria are victims of the said corruption.

The statement questioned the actions of the federal government in quote, "“My Point is why only 19 States, what about the Remaining 17 States ? Those that Prepared the Arithmetic said they targeted at Economically disadvantaged States and victims of Corruption . Is there any State that is not Economically Disadvantaged in Nigeria or that is not a victim of corruption ?"

Comr. Atti further advised that the recovered loot be shared amongst all 36 States, noting that they have all been victims of corruption and poverty.

" I want to charge our President to sight his signals towards this Particular Issue and ensure that the Recovered Abacha loots of  $350 million be equally distributed amongst the 36 Nigerian States”.

“I am not Making this Publication to Oppose the President Buhari Led Administration but contribute my quota to our National Growth by deliberately Reacting to some critical Issues affecting the Youths and Nigerians in General.

“There has been cases of recovered Abacha loot and the Recent one which has gotten international attention and the consciousness of Conscious People because of the Positive way the money is to be shared amongst 19 States of the federation", the statement added.

Comr. Atti J Moses is also the special assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson on student affairs, and secretary, Nigerian Youth Parliament, South South caucus.
