Bayelsa State government begins recruitment into civil service commission

In a Radio announcement obtained by Bodmas Kemepadei, signed by the Permanent secretary of the Bayelsa state civil service commission, Dr. Godpower Eseimokumoh, it stated that the Bayelsa state Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson has approved the appointment of about 1,000 young persons into the commission.

He also stated that the exercise will cover three categories of eligible Bayelsans.

The categories are:

1. Professionals who have been serving in the different ministries, agencies and parastatals as temporary or casual staffs

2.  Temporal staffs of the various discipline that has served meritoriously

3.  All other unemployed graduates, technicians or persons with special skills

The requirements for application are as follows;

* Applicants must not be less than 18 and above 50

* FSLC, WAEC, GCE or other degrees

* Birth or Age declaration

* Local government identification letter

* Certified medical certificate of fitness from Government owned hospital

* Curriculum Vitae

* NYSC discharge or exemption certificate

The statement also advised applicants to report to the Appointment department of the state civil service commission on Tuesday, 19th June, 2018, to pick a copy of the application form and obtain other useful information.
