Dotimi Alamene, a 29 years old indigene of foropa community, one of the champions of the not too young to rule campaign, and a youth leader in Southern-Ijaw constituency four (IV) in Bayelsa state, has congratulated Ekpetiama born 33 years old Ibarakumo otobo, on his appointment as Youths Commissioner.

Dotimi noted that the appointment would raise youths consciousness and increase their awareness in activities of governance.

" As Youths, this has always been our desire, especially as we propagate the not too young to rule campaign at all levels.

" This will further develop our work and i feel this is the right time is for us have a Youth Commissioner who has a drive and passion for Youths".

Dotimi stated that he was delighted to have heard the announcement of Ibarakumo Otobo as Youth Commissioner for Bayelsa state.

He said Ibarakumo deserves it, noting that he has been resilient working alongside other Youths.

" Ibarakumo has a particular passion for Youth development and It is due to this passion that I feel it is appropriate to appoint him into the role of Youth Commissioner

" I am sure you will all join me in congratulating him.

" The timing of this appointment is very appropriate as we are nearing Youth shaped month", he added.

He further commended the Governor and called on all Bayelsans to rally round Ibarakumo, to sustain the current tempo of Youths in government.
