The Leadership of Ijaw Youths Council, Central zone, ably led by Barr. Tare porri has halted the ongoing FERMA projects along the Mbiama/Yenagoa expressway.
The Chairman while returning back from the burial of a colleague, on Saturday 16th December 2017 at exactly 2:30pm, saw one of the FERMA work in progress, but was shock at the sight of just few bags of cement and tips of plastering sand, being used to repair the major roads.
The Chairman stopped to inspect the project, surprisingly, the materials used for the repair work was inadequate, the contractors were using just sand and cement to amend tiled roads, and there was not even enough water on the mortar.
