IJAW STUDENTS HONORS BARR. OWEILAEMI, DESCRIBES HIM AS A SELFLESS LEADER.

Barr. Oweilaemi Roland Pereotubo, one of the presidential candidate in the forthcoming Ijaw youth council (IYC) worldwide elections to be conducted by the Ebi Waribigha led Electoral committee, was honored by all Ijaw students, as a pragmatic and selfless leader, considering his zeal and commitment towards the welfare of ijaw students.

Presenting the award was the then President of the National union of Izon-Ibe students (NUIS) Worldwide, Comr. Gesi Fulutu, who described Oweilaemi as a man with the heart of love, who has displayed his commitment to serve Ijaw people in humility by ensuring education of Izon Child when he was a former President of the union.

Oweilaemi while Receiving the award, thanked the leadership of the union, and describe the Award as the best gift he has ever received, he categorically stated that all his life, he has never lobbied or begged to be awarded, as such, since the union has found him worthy, he would forever be grateful and ensure the plaque is kept at a well reserved space in his office.

The award was Presented at the venue of the NUIS National Convention, which held at Tuomo, Delta state, September 2016, in the presence of many great leaders, other awardees were, Distinguished Comr. Igali Robert Joel (Nat. Sec. Gen. Candidate), Comr. Kennedy Olorogun (NUIS Stakeholder) Barr. Owoupele Jeremiah (Fmr. Spokesperson of IYC), Engr. Udengs Eradiri (Immediate Past President, IYC Worldwide) and many others.
