BAYELSANS TO JOIN NATIONWIDE PROTESTS AGAINST BUHARI'S ANTI-PEOPLE'S POLICIES.
YENAGOA: Bayelsans under the aegis of "Responsible citizens of Nigeria" has come out to declare their stand to add their voice for the liberation of the suffering masses, by joining the forthcoming Nationwide Protests being convened by 2face Idibia.
This is coming barely 48hrs to the Nationwide protests set to hold Monday February 6th.
It could be recalled that Nigeria's famous musician, 2face Idibia, made it known that he would stage a public demonstration against the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, over his obnoxious policies which has no doubt brought hardship and hunger to the country.
While some have applauded the move, others have been very hostile, warning him to steer clear of politics and concentrate on his music career. However, the singer has pressed on and unveiled a timetable for his march, which holds Monday, February 6, in Lagos.
It is inline with the above time-table, that the group has therefore decided to come out on same day and occupy the Yenagoa metropolis, around the popular Tombia roundabout at Etegwe community by 12noon.
The group’s motive is to stand in support of 2face decision and prove to the Nigerian government that Nigerians are not fools, as Buhari's policies has added to the sufferings of Bayelsans, with high cost of goods, inflation of market prices, untold hardship and more.
The group is therefore calling on all Bayelsans to come out enmass on same day and occupy the Yenagoa metropolis to vent their anger via peaceful demonstration against Buhari's anti-People's policies.
