IYC CELEBRATES WITH PERSONS LIVING WITH DISABILITY

The President of the Ijaw youths council (IYC), Engr. Udengs Eradiri, today celebrated with persons living with disabilities as they gathered in Yenagoa to mark World disability day.

In an occasion organised by Creative arts for peace initiative led by Sylvester sede tagged "Sports and arts festival for disabled people/ World disability day" which featured Sports, arts exhibition, dance, music and more, held at the Prestigious Matho Crystal Hotel.

Representing the IYC President was his Special Adviser on Media, Comr. Chris Solomon debunsha, who spoke assuring the persons that the council was fully in support of their activities as they were bona-fide members of the council, he assured them of his preparedness to continue supporting their programs, he advised them to always be productive.

The events also featured swimming at Matho Crystal. Wheelchair Marathon from Opolo to complex, Track race and short put at bdgs ovom.
