Bayelsa: Ghastly motor accident 5hrs to Christmas

There is wide wailing and agony among sympathizers behind Jubilee Hotels, Okaka Town, along the Sani Abacha Expressway in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital when two vehicles collided into a Tricycle carrying a mother and three children believed to be hers.

Eyewitness said, one Accura zeep going towards Tombia Roundabout somehow, jumped off his lane and hit an Highlander zeep going towards Berger junction which lost control and ran into the Keke carrying the children and their supposed mother, inflicting various degrees of horrific injuries.

One of the child who is between 10-12years was chopped off from the knee, living the bone and the knee-cap exposed.

The supposed mother who went off the keke to a distance scene rolled her solder to the road, pilling off her skin.

Another little kid had her both legs with degrees of injuries.

The architect of the accident and driver of the Acurra zeep was watched trekking off the scene with bloods also flowing out from parts of his body.

As at the time of filling this report, some good Samaritans have evacuated the victims with a vehicle to a yet to be disclosed hospital, as the supposed mother was shouting "take us to any hospital now", as the children were vividly seen bleeding seriously, and emotional sympathizers crying uncontrollably.

The situation has caused a terrible traffic jam in that axis of the road coupled with the congested Kpansian market not too far from the scene of the accident.
