General Preye agrees to chair Mr/Miss izon-ibe unity and cultural show, lauds Planning committee's effort.

The Planning committee of Mr/Miss izon-ibe cultural pageantry show visited General Preye Ekpebide of Touching life foundation, to brief him on the plan to confer the Chairman of the days occasion on him and solicit his support following his philanthropic credentials; scholarship schemes, Football tournaments geared at promoting izon stars and his many good deeds captured at promoting the well being of izon students.

Speaking with General Preye, Bodmas Kemepadei the Chairman of the planning committee and Director of Socials, NUIS worldwide, told the General of the committees decision to make him the chiarman of the Occasion and  also briefed him on the reasons for the show; which is to revive the Izons,unite and educate them on the path to progress despite the dwindling problems rocking the region.

General Preye having heard the decision of committee paid a positive view as he agreed to chair the occasion and render support that will heighten the sole aim of mr/Miss izon-ibe. He lauded the decision of the union and advice them to remain resolute to service, shun political sentiments and always do right thing that will emancipate the people and the region both academically, environmentally, financially and otherwise.

Aftermath, the committee paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Pere G.T, Oporomo Tara-Eza 1 of Kerebiri Mein Kingdom, Bomadi local government, Delta State, to invite him of the upcoming event.

The royal Father was fascinated about the idea of the event as he exposed through wise sayings the history of the Izon-ibe   and reasons for the establishment of the union, the gains,flaws and shortcomings. The highness; once a President of the union lauded the concept of the event and assured the committee of his full participation in the upcoming remarkable mr/Miss izon-ibe cultural pageantry show which he described as a vehicle of social engineering that will reunite the Izon People towards a positive light.
