BAYELSA@20 NIGERIA@56: UPTHRUST ORG. CELEBRATES WITH NIGERIANS.

YENAGOA: Following the independence celebration of Nigeria at 56 and Bayelsa at 20, the President of Upthrust Organization, Daziba Amarabhi Iloko has issued a press statement through his Spokesperson, Kenneth precious itutuman on behalf of all the progressive Youth Advocates of their organisation and youths in particular, celebrating the creation of Bayelsa state and Nigeria's freedom.

According to him, "it is worthy of celebration that over the years, Nigerian Youths have weathered through the storm to acquire education, build careers in business, politics, sports, entertainment, finance, industry and many more in the process bringing pride to the nation".

"This is a testimony to the belief that we youths are ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic and promising as recently displayed by our gallant athletes at Rio Olympics and Paralympics 2016.
Even as we go through this period of political and economic uncertainties together, let us remember that in time past with little opportunities, little resources, little assurances but believe in ourselves, we have lived, worked,
survived and grown, this time will not be an exception.

As a group, Upthrust Organization remains committed to the development of human resources through empowerment by building capacity, leadership, consciousness of responsibility and availability of information", he added.

The President also encouraged Progressives minded youths to continually take their duties seriously by giving the needed attention.

He further called on youths to shun all forms of violence, according to him, he maintained that the youths are the key to the advancement of our nation.
