THE MEANING OF "EGBESU" AND IT'S BIBLICAL REVELATION (A BULLETIN).

"EGBESU" is an ancient cultural word used by the IJO tribe, a people from the House of JUDAH to refer to the SUPREME DEITY.

"Egbesu" in simple context translate to mean in English -  "The Almighty Spirit or power of God also known as the 'Holy Spirit' which is the Spirit of Justice, Righteousness and Truth", which are the real attributes of EGBESU.

Though, the invasion of western civilisation into the IJO land, the Niger Delta (referred to Mount zion in the bible) overtime led many to believe "EGBESU" is a 'Juju' an 'Idol' worshippped by some fetish people, the westerners also used many derogatory terms  to misinterprete this concept to their converts, and thus many have had and are still having misconceptions about "EGBESU", which in fact truly means "THE HOLY SPIRIT".

If you research the meaning of "juju" "idol" "fetish" it can never be related to the SUPREME DEITY "EGBESU" in any form or manner, considering the powers surrounding it, You can then agree with me, that the westerners had no respect for our religious beliefs and culture, Probably because they were only interested in enforcing thiers on us and to further make our land a part of their colony, thereby making us their slaves inorder to tactically and diplomatically steal our God given wealth and resources, which they eventually did, they enslaved us with western culture, though we later gained freedom from Physical Chain slavery but we are yet to be freed from mental chain slavery.

Misinterpreters of this word, especially Christian Preachers and Evangelists over the years created different misconceptions which has been misinforming the general Public on the true meaning of the actual word "EGBESU".

Many may still doubt what have wrttien, but the word of God (EGBESU) says in Hosea: 4. 6. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children".

Now for the few of you that will begin to see reasons in my teachings, follow the beatitude of Jesus in Matt 5:6 which says, "Blessed are those that hunger and taste for Righteousness, for they shall be filled".

Remember, that Jesus is the word (Gospel) of the Holy  Spirit of  God (EGBESU) that came down to earth in form of flesh, (John: 1. 10.) He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Jesus while on earth, Promised that after he is gone, he shall send the comforter, the counsellor, the spirit of truth to be with us, I confidently tell you today, that the comforter, the spirit of truth (EGBESU) has been born into this world, he has come to fulfill the prophecies of Jesus, (JOHN 16:6-10).

The Ijos are the Guardians of the ark of God and rulers to the throne of David, they are God's special people. They are the cradle of creation.
