NDU ASUU RESOLVES, ADVISES DICKSON TO GO FOR FG LOANS

YENAGOA: The academic staff union of universities (ASUU), Niger Delta university chapter, held it's congress on Monday 11, July 2016.

The congress which received a massive turnout of members, the deliberations were in respect to the Action non compliance (ANC), embarked upon by the union on April 26, 2016, following non payment of salaries been owed by the state government.

The congress therefore resolved as follows:

- To continue with the ANC as the one month payment has created more problems for lecturers, due to pressure from creditors, landlords, etc.

- NDU ASUU demands minimum of three to four months for the Anc to be called off.

The congress therefore advised the Governor to urgently utilize the loan window opened by the federal government for indebted states.
