GOV. DICKSON'S CPS LOSES MUM

YENAGOA: The Chief Press Secretary to Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, has lost his mother, Mrs. Salomi Iworiso-Markson.

She was said to have suffered a prolonged terminal illness which spanned several years, until her unfortunate demise last Friday, July 8 2016 in a Port Harcourt hospital.

She was aged 74, and known to be a matriarch and a pillar of support, loved by many for her positive influence and contributions to society.

In a terse statement issued in Yenagoa, Monday 10, July 3016, her son, Hon. Daniel, he said that she was fondly called "Sisi" by those who knew her and was lovable and well respected.

Until her demise, she is survived by six children, an extended family and eight grandchildren. 

According to the CPS, Funeral arrangements would be announced later.
