IYC OFFICERS VOW TO SUE IT'S COUNCIL'S SEC.GEN OVER FORGERY OF CONVENTION REPORT.

YENAGOA/DELTA: A former mobile parliament speaker of the Ijaw Youth Council, Deme Yinkore and the treasurer Ijaw Youth council central zone,   Ebilade Ekerefe have both refuted claims of being part of a purported national convention held on 16th June 2016, that allegedly sacked Udengs Eradiri (President of the Council) , Eric Omare (Spokesman of the council) and installed Elvis Donkemezuo, Mike Edonkumor as president and spokesman respectively.

In an affidavit signed at the Sagbama high court, Bayelsa, Deme Yinkore said the  document that was submitted to a Sagbama high court by its council's National secretary general as part of minutes of a purported convention that held on 16th June 2016 bearing his name in which he nominated one Mike Edonkumor as spokesman of the council  is fictitious and was forged because he never was a part of the said convention.

He however blamed the national secretary general of the council, Bristol Alagbariya Emmanuel who signed the document as the key conspirator and vowed to sue him  for forgery because he wasn't consulted at anytime before his name was included in the document.

On his path Ebilade Ekerefe, the Treasurer,  IYC Central Zone, said he is not in any way part of the internal crisis bewildering the council  and warned those engaging in forgery and perjury to desist from it saying he was never part of the convention that held on 16 June 2016.

According to him after receiving the information of the convention on 18th June 2016  he called the national secretary general on phone who told him he was not the Ebilade Ekerefe on the document but another Ebilade Ekerefe did the nomination and not him.

However, they both notified members of the general public, the media, Law Courts and other relevant authorities that they were never part of the said convention and warned those peddling falsehood to stop forthwith.
