IYC ELECTIONS: I cant withstand injustice - Egbe Emi declares as ELECO clears her for Dep. Natl President

A central zone leader and former Chairmanship aspirant, Comrade Egbe Emi has made bold to say that she would never tolerate injustice and marginalization against the Ijaws.

Emi who is also a trado-medical practitioner specialised in the treatment of breast cancer with use of herbs and fruits, spoke to newsmen in Yenagoa shortly after she was given a pass mark by the IYC Electoral Committee.

" I can't withstand injustice and marginalization against our own people in Ijaw Nation, from government at all levels and multinationals operating in Niger Delta Region ,including the very interventionist agencies established to pacify our people by the Nigerian Governments

" Therefore if given the opportunity to serve as the Deputy President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide I will work collectively with the National Leadership to ensure that before we take any decision that has to do with our people in the Nigerian State,we must consult across our various zones and chapters with relevant stakeholders", parts of her statement reads.

Emi while appealing to delegates, further pledged to work with women of Ijaw Nation, and aid in the organization of skills oriented programmes.
