Dont recruit ex-militants into your Govt - Gen. Ogunboss tells Lyon, Gov. Elect.

A foremost Niger Delta ex-agitator has called on the BAYELSA Governor Elect, Chief David Lyon, to put ex-militants far from his administration if he intends to succeed.

His statement reads below;

" Put Ex~Militants Away from State Gov't  Appointments:  ( Way forward for Bayelsa).

" If you ask me what I came to do in the world, I will tell you, "I am an artist, & I came to live out my own mark on the earth". 

" I believe we all have a unique part to play in politics, & in the healing of society as ex~agitators. 

" Whatever choices you make, if you can't ponder on how to lighten the burdens of your people without the expectation of receiving anything in return, it makes you incomplete on your claim as an ex~agitator. 

" The shame I can't share is our backwardness as a state in terms of development, if we are not careful of our feelings or the presents we make for self~lifting political appointments, you will lose your respect from the people. 

" I don't need an appointment to prove that the governor~elect is my friend or brother, or as a way of showing that i have served the party under unbearable circumstances for years without complains. 

" I think my own self~realization should be the greatest service I should render to Bayelsa considering the underdevelopment we been facing in the years, there's no success in any government except you build one, & now that we have built one, this is the other stage of crucial revision to bring ideas on how the government can do well for it's people than seeking for early political appointments. 

" I want to call on the governor elect that no ex ~ militant or agitator be considered for any political appointment, except on elective positions where he or she can test his popularity by the people's votes. Go & test your popularity in the field, fortune is on the side of those who had served their people. 

" We should be thinking on forming partnership with the government~elect on all inclusive  project "monitoring committees", that will  grade class, quality & acceptible standards to compete with other cities of the developed world. 

" If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far, so that you won't hear them anymore. It is honorable to be mentioned by history, it is  honorable to put perfection in our actions, this way you can help change the world by beginning from our own committed selves. 

" GO OUT OF YOUR TENTS, LEAVE THAT ROAD & TAKE THE PEOPLE'S TRAIL".
