Bayelsa Volunteer Chairman wades into Opolo-Epie Crisis.

Following the crises that rocked Opolo-Epie community in Yenagoa, Bayelsa's capital, at the late hours of yesterday to the early hours of today, wherein scores are reported to be injured.

The Bayelsa state Volunteer Chairman, Hon. Asanakpo, visited the community in an emergency call, to arrest the situation and bring lasting peace to the community.

According to his media aide, "Hon. Lucky Oyinkuro Asanakpo Chairman Bayelsa State Volunteers, today respond to an emergency call and intervene in the crisis rocking Opolo Epie, Yenagoa-Bayelsa State.

" The Chairman also as part of the intervention, make a consultative move to the Palace of His Royal Highness Chief Richard Akintola Paramount Ruler of Opolo Community to be abreast with detailed information about the crisis"

Peace is said to have returned to the community as at press time.

Broken bottles used during the time of the crisis were also recovered.
