Bayelsa: 3 suspected sea-pirates reported dead, after a failed attempt on an oil facility

According to information made available to Bodmas Newsblog, three suspected sea-pirates, with one of them identified as "ASARAKPO" from Gbaraun, are reported to have met their waterloo, while trying to launch an attack on an oil facility, along the Clough creek, Egbema-Angalabiri axis of Ekeremor Local government area of Bayelsa state.

According to a source, who pleads anonymity, the pirates were intercepted by men of the Nigerian Military attached to the area, between the hours of 11am - 1pm, yesterday night, 14th July 2018.

The area is said to play host to NAOC, Tunu Oil facility.

Though, the Military is yet to officially make any public statement to confirm the incident.
