By Aluzu E. Augustine 23rd June, 2018

On 28th of April, 2018 we brought you the story of a female senior secondary school student by name Lilian Friday whose eye was damaged by suspected female cultists for refusing to join their group.

Members of Patriotism Advancement and Community Orientation Network (PACON) paid her a visit two days after the incidence.

We have received reports from the family that Lilian has been advised by an Ophthalmologist to undergo surgery on her right eye in order to open the eye as the flesh to the upper and lower eyelid have grown back, thereby permanently covering the right eye.

Though the police is yet to arrest her assailants, the surgery is billed to take place on Tuesday, 26th June, 2018.

We were told the cost of the surgery is three hundred thousand naira (₦300,000.00) only.

We have the informed consent and approval of Lilian Friday's family to appeal for public donations on their behalf. This is to enable the family inure the cost of the surgery.

Donations should be made to the following account:

Account Name: IGBOGI PROGRESS,
Account Number: 0243274023
Bank: Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB)

P.S: the above quoted account belongs to Mrs. Igbogi Progress (Mother to Lilian Friday). Donors are advised to text PACON on +234706 863 9696 quoting the amount donated so that the organization can also render account when called upon by the public.

Help Lilian regain her sight again.

Thank you and God bless you
