Adeboye VS Suleiman: The confusion of 2018 has begun
THE CONFUSION OF 2018 HAS BEGAN AGAIN FROM THE PEOPLE'S DADDIES:
PROPHECIES of 2018 "No more war" -Pst. Adeboye.
"There will be war" -Apst. Suleiman
The above prophecies of the two Nigeria renowned "Men of God" within the one Christian faith calls for criticism as well as analysis from critical minds.
Did these prophecies lay credence to the fact that these men are not from the same God? Yes, it does say so.
Subjecting the prophecies "There will be no war and there will be war" to a logical analysis, where the lexical connector (major Operator) "AND" is employed tells us that there is only one possibility for a Truth when an "And" (conjunction) governs a set of propositions (conjuncts). It can be truth functional when both sides (conjuncts) are true.
Thus:
(1) T • T = True
(2) T • F = False
(3) F • T = False
(4) F • F = False
Now, can 1 above apply to the prophecies when they both say the opposite to the other and pointing to one same subject? Not at all. So, 1 above is out. Therefore, the two "Men of God" are left with the options 2 through 4.
2 and 3 shows that one of the prophecies is True while the other False. And 4 indicate that both are false. Ordinarily, 4 is nearly completely out in this context.
This is not the first time professed "men of God" are at variance in prophecies as it concerns a particular issue. It can be recall that some time ago, Pst. Tunde Bakare and Pst. Chris Okotie at the same time said God told each of them that they'll become President of Nigeria in the same election Pull. What did not we saw? Both of them never emerged President (4 above prevailed). One may be tempted to ask, were they both deceived by their God or they did deceived their own selves?
Can I be sure that Proverbs 14:5 is in these men's Bible, "A faithful witness (prophecy) will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies." -*parentheses mine* See also, 1Cor. 14:33
"There will be no war"
"There will be war"
And both of them will always holds God as their source of knowledge into the future. Read this:
1 Corinthians 14:33, says "For God is not the author of confusion, ..."
What is more, Jesus warned "...Take heed that no man deceive you..." Matthew 24:4. Read Jeremiah 5:27-31. Verse 31 concludes: "The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
The adherents sometimes share in the blame, as they most time demand to hear prophecies from their Pastor; Apostle; Reverend; Bishop; Archbishop; etc. even when their God have not spoken to them (the leaders).
Isaiah 30:10 reads "...speak unto us smooth things (things that they love hearing), prophesy deceits:" *Parentheses mine*
In conclusion, I must say that religion have gone beyond blind dogma. I leave you with this to ponder over: if there will be no war, and if there will be war, what are the parameters already on ground for these thesis?
