Tithing: Dear Church, i know you are angry - Read this letter

Dear Church,

I know we are very angry or betterstill, disappointed about the ongoing attacks about tithes, private jets, exotic cars and all the luxury some of our leaders enjoy.

I also know that Jesus told the apostles about preaching the gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth but they chose to stay in Jerusalem and have "fun". People sold properties and dropped in the church to make sure there were no persons that lacked and it sounded good.

Do you know it took persecution for them to scatter abroad and the result is that you are born again today?

Well, we are not different from them today. God's instruction to us is to make disciples for him. People that would be genuinely in love with him but we choose to be self serving. 

Worry not about the attacks but be sensitive to what the Lord is working out through this.  Lemme even say this, the churches that preach the gospel need not worry cos no man in love will not want to give. If you've taught your people to love God, the tithe queues would even be longer, but if you've taught your people to come and collect from God, well, there's judgement on you already.

Stay true to the gospel. May God's will in all of these be achieved.

May more preachers continue to emphasize the need for a love relationship with our maker.

Time is coming when the state would be against you, your friends would gather against for for your faith. What then would sustain you if you're not firmly rooted?
