MEMBERS OF OGULAGHA KINGDOM FORUM, WHATSAPP GROUP DONATE DESKS TO SOKEBOLOU SECONDARY SCHOOL

The members of Ogulagha Kingdom Forum, WhatsApp group; today Friday 17th November, 2017 donated fifty (50) 3 seater desks to Sokebolou Secondary School, Sokebolou, Burutu LGA, Delta State.

Presenting the desks on behalf of the famous  WhatsApp group been administered by Comrade Victor Isereke; Comrade Ekpos Okuwanze stated that "this is a self-help initiative by members of our whatsapp forum not just to talk but to do the very little we can to aide teaching and learning in our Kingdom, hence we called on all member to make desk donations and this is the product of that initiative". 

He added that "our target is to raise 100 desks; 50 each to the two secondary schools in our kingdom; while we make this presentation today, the ones for Ogulagha Secondary School are near completion and will be presented to the school authority later this year". In Ogulagha Kingdom Forum, Whatsapp Group we do a little beyond talking as we identify areas of critical need in our kingdom and  offer to assist to the best of our ability; as I speak we are in the final stages of arrangement to embark on Anti-Drug abuse campaign in conjunction with the  Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council and the Shedrack Agediga Foundation.

Reacting on behalf of the school, the principal, Mr. C. R. Isabor thanked members of the Ogulagha Kingdom Forum Whatsapp Group for the selfless gesture; that if initiatives like this are sustained it will go a long way to make the kingdom a better place. He also pleaded with representatives of the Ogulagha Kingdom Forum, Whatsapp Group to prevail on those in charge of the school bus to put in more efforts  for its smooth operation, that students are subjected to walk over 6 kilometres to attend school and cover same distance home daily. 

Other members of the forum who joined Mr. Ekpos to make the presentation include Mr. Benjamin Gende, Mr Alvin Alaye, and Comr. Clever Igere.
