I am not against Dickson administration, i remain committed to PDP - Turnah

Godson of former President Jonathan, Barr. Alabh George Turnah, the life Patron and Founder of the G - House political group, has come out to debunked reports making rounds, suggesting that the G - House may have emerged the most active opposition platform to the Henry Seriake Dickson's led PDP Government in Bayelsa State.

Mr. Turnah in his statement made available to newsmen via his Executive Assistant, Ibu Mizodome, frowned at what he termed as a deliberate attempt by some fifth columnist in the state to cause crises amongst leaders and faithfuls of the PDP family.

"The fact that the administration of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson misunderstood the public appeal made by the Honourable George Turnah with respect to the need to complete some ongoing projects in the state, and all the matters that have arisen there from, is not enough reason for anybody or group to suggest that the G-House has constituted itself into an opposition structure against the PDP administration in the state" the statement read.

Chief Ibu insisted that his Boss remained a loyal, committed, dedicated and unrepentant member of the PDP, and will therefore not encourage nor support any act possible of distracting the PDP administration in the state, adding that public appeal made by his Boss was born out of a genuine concern as a very senior member of the PDP who wishes above all things, that the Governor Henry Seriake Dickson's led administration succeeds in it's efforts at developing critical infrastructure in the state, but regretted that his Boss's harmless appeal has been seriously misunderstood by many, especially actors in the Governor Henry Seriake Dickson camp leading to the launch of an unwarranted media attack on the person and character of Barr. Alabh George Turnah.

"My Boss, the revered Comrade Turnah has nothing personal against his Governor nor the administration of Gov Henry Seriake Dickson. Turnah is known for his humble, respectful and peaceful nature, he has always shown great respect to the exulted office of the Governor of Bayelsa State and the occupant, he hasn't changed, he will continue to do so. However, as a very senior indigene of the state who is genuinely concerned about it's growth and progress, George Turnah will continue to offer his advice to those in authority, even though such advice is likely to misrepresent him, given that TRUTH they say is always bitter" the statement said.

Chief Ibu noted that though we live in a 'silent society', his Boss, the Barr. Alabh George Turnah will continue to be a voice to the voiceless masses, adding that it was for same reason that his Boss has established the George Turnah Chambers, a law firm through which he uses to offer free legal services to the very poor and vulnerable in the society. He also noted that his Boss's choice of Civil /Human Rights as his major area of practice, is to enable him fight evil systems in the country that derives so much pleasure in terrorizing and victimizing ordinary citizens as well as perceived enemies of their friends and political opponents such as the EFCC.

The statement further reassured members of the public, the PDP and the Government of Bayelsa State that the G-House being an ideological organization, is not, and will not be a vehicle in the hands of opposition to destabilize the business of governance which it considers very critical in the overall development of the state and her people.
