Dickson inaugurates Prof. Okoko and others to settle crises rocking the INC.

The Executive Governor of bayelsa state, His Excellency, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, has inaugurated a high powered Ijaw National Peace Committee to reconcile the warring factions in the INC.

They are as follows:

CENTRAL ZONE:
1. Chief Francis Doukpola (Chairman)
2. General.  John Yeti (Rtd.)
3. Senator Inatimi Rufus Spiff
4. Dr. Amba Ambaiowei
5. Prof. Ayibaemi Spiff

EASTERN ZONE:
1. H. E. Sir G. T. G. Toby
2. Prof. Nimi Briggs
3. Prof. Joseph Ajenka
4. Dr. Silas Eneyo
5. Mrs. Rose Obuoforibo
6. Arch. I. E. I.  Ette

WESTERN ZONE:
1. General Cletus K. Emein(Rtd)
2. Wing Comdr. P. Y. Biakpara (Rtd)
3. High Chief Francis J.  Williams
4. Bar. Felicia A. Ajagu
5. Dr. Felix Tuodolo (Secretary)

According to the statement from Mr. Austin Dressy-Dresmann, the Hon. Commissioner of Culture and Ijaw National Affairs, it reads;

" Considering the critical importance of the assignment to the Ijaw Nation,  all former Presidents of INC are to serve as members of the Committee.

These are:
1. Prof. Christopher Dimie
2. Chief Joshua Fumudoh
3. Prof. Kimse Okoko ".

The Committee was inaugurated on Friday, 23rd June,  2017 at exactly 12 noon at the Governor's Conference Hall,  Government House, Yenagoa
