Man kills and Bury his dog, refuses it to be 404 meat

A Nigerian Facebook user, Esema Aguse posted on his timeline about how he organised a benefiting burial for his dog after sedating and murdering it.

According to him, the dog was 14years of age, which is equivalent to 90 in human age, and he could not stand seeing the dog facing several illnesses before it death.

He also said that he had to professionally murder the dog with the help of a police vet doctor and bury it, instead of handing it over to 404 patrons, who would turn the dog into a pot of hot pepper soup to merry over with friends.

The saddest part about owning a dog is when it is time to say goodbye.

At 14, a dog is 90 in human age -- and the dog owner must make a hard choice:

Hand him over to dog-eaters so that even in death, it would still serve a purpose for the living, as someone suggested, or watch him suffer a slow, miserable death -- or kill him kindly.

For Ceaser, when we looked at each other a last time a short while ago, both of us knew he won't suffer falling sight, running nose, hair loss before he dies or be turned into a pot of pepper soup for some dipsomaniacs and football pool stakers to merry over.

The good murderer, a police vet doctor, was professional.

First, Old Friend was sedated -- then euthanized.

In all, it took no more than 30 minutes.

He was buried without prayers, without wash, without clothe, an atheist in death.

A friend, faithful and just, he has been -- and if Sugarcandy Mountain were real, he would walk through its gate with ease.
