BAYELSA STATE 2017 BUDGET PASSED, DICKSON ASSURES OF A BETTER BAYELSA
Yesterday 29th march 2017, the Bayelsa State House of Assembly passed the 2017 Appropriation Bill in the floor of the house.
The total estimate as was passed by the lawmakers indicates an increment of about N21m to the initial figure presented by Gov Dickson which now stand at N243,244,714.00.
You would recall that Gov Seriake Dickson had on 8th December, 2016 presented a total estimate of N221,280, which after due diligence and deliberations, the house put to a workable grand total of N243,244,714.00.
Budget of consolidation and repositioning as it is tagged by the Executive Arm, when implemented, will ensure the completion of many ongoing projects to give Yenagoa and Bayelsa State in general, a face lift as well as provides opportunities for the teaming unemployed in the State.
Governor Seriake Dickson in his speech urged Bayelsans to be patient with government and be law abiding to consolidate the dreams of the founding fathers to make Bayelsa State the Glory of All Lands.
