Just in: IYC sets up 5-man convention planning committee

The Ijaw youths council (IYC) has announced a 5-man Presidential Convention planning committee for the IYC 7th Triennial National Convention.

This was contained in a memo signed by the President, the committee is to be chaired by Chief Dibi Yinkori.

The members of the committee are as follows:

• Chief Dibi Yinkori - Chairman
• Elaye Vivian Offeh - Member
• Alhaji Barasi Brown - Member
• Pondy Ebipadewei Stainless - Member
• Kalizibe Joseph - Member

According to the Council President, Engr. Udengs Eradiri:

"they are to ensure a smooth and hitch free convention by taking care of transportation of delegates, feeding and other incidental activities for a successful convention, while the Eleco already working, will deal strictly with the elections".
