ETISALAT DONATES ICT MATERIALS TO IYC, UDENGS EXPRESSES APPRECIATION.

YENAGOA: The President of the most prestigious body in Africa, Ijaw youths council (IYC), Engr. Udengs Eradiri, after his inception into office, for the first time created an ICT library to enable Sons and daughters of Ijaw Nation gain knowledge, in his bid to promote and encourage Educational and intellectual abilities in Niger Delta.

Following the good works of the Council, the Etisalat Nig. regional office located in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State on 10th January 2017, represented by Tochukwu Okafor, Rep. Head Government Relation and Charles Mayaki, Consumer Sales and Services officer in Bayelsa, paid a courtesy visit to the Council's National Secretariat at Yenagoa and donated ICT materials to the council.

Among items donated were, Computer sets, CPU's, modems, ICT Books, etc.

Speaking at the event was Mr. Tochukwu Okafor, noted that as part of Etisalat social Responsibility to their host communities with regards to ICT, Education, the company is intent to support initiatives that tends to promote educational values.

Reacting was the President of the council,  Engr. Udengs Eradiri whom appreciated their gesture and promised to always provide a comfortable environment for them to carry out their Operations.
