TIKARI DANJUMA IS AN IMPOSTOR WITH TWO IDENTITIES - EGBESU GROUP ALLEGES

A Niger Delta based group, the Egbesu United, EU, has revealed that the appointment of ‘Tikari Danjuma’ by the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Uguru Usani Uguru, was a deliberate attempt to endanger lives and properties of the people in the region with the ultimate aim of compromising the entire security of the country’s oil and gas assets for pecuniary benefits.

This was made known by the group’s Spokesperson, Ebelo Preiye, Monday, in Yenagoa the Bayelsa State capital in a telephone chat with our correspondent which came at the heels of an enlarged meeting of the group’s leadership.

According to the ex-militant leader, Honourable Usani deliberately appointed a questionable character in person of ‘Tikari Danjuma’ who he described as an impostor and a name dropper as the National Coordinator, Riverine Communities Security Programme of the federal government, wondering why such a character who has no clear parentage was appointed to oversee security in the Delta.

The group averred further that the Minister was hands in glove with criminals in the region for want of pecuniary benefits adding that: “We have it from a good source that Tikari Danjuma bought the appointment from the Minister with the sum of two hundred million naira in promissory note,” adding that the group raised suspicion but the alleged that the Minister was bent on ensuring that he awarded the security contract to Danjuma whom the group gave his real name as Mathew Perekabowei Suinoma.

Whereas the group stated that the Monday 28, edition of the Vanguard Newspaper on its page 40, vindicated the group as the General T.Y. Danjuma (Rtd) disclaimed the “serial impersonator of reputable retired army chiefs’ son adding that although the newspaper full page advertisement erroneously mentioned the controversial Tikari Danjuma as Mathew Obobo Solomon.

“How can a Minister of the federal Republic surrender the security of the entire region to a man with fraudulent idebtity,” the group querried, noting that the Minister has confirmed the suspicion of the group.

“Mathew Obobo Suinoma is a notable member of the Niger Delta Avengers, who works with Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tompolo the Niger Delta most wanted fugitive who is today bribing senior officials of this government to undermine regional security especially the protection of oil and gas facilities. He has the likes of Collins, Suinoma et al on his payroll yet, a so called Minister awarded him security contract at the detriment of genuine ex-militant leaders who are working assiduously with this government to end sabotage on our national assets.

“On the fraudulent appointment, Tikari Danjuma named another member of the rag-tag Avengers in Burutu local government as the LGA Coordinator for the Riverine Communities Security Programme. The man owns the diesel camp after the recently demolished Benji Camp in Burutu area of the creeks by the security forces. It is very clear now that Usani is working with members of the destructive Avengers.

“We raised Usani wouldn’t listen. With the disclaimer by the Danjumas, the best thing to do is for Usani to resign honourably because he has misled the government.” The group stated.

Additionally, the group called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to be cautious of his appointees whom he accused of working with criminal elements to undermine the government adding that the EU remains solidly behind the FG in its bid to develop the Delta region
