Osom to Ijaw Leaders: think Izon first and keep politics aside

Yesterday during a courtesy visit by some members of the Mr and Miss izon-ibe cultural pageant organising committee, to the residence of the Egbedesue and utukpa 1 of Famgbe in Epie/Atissa clan, a person of Hon. Osomkime Blankson, a philanthropist, businessman and a youth leader.

Osomkime spoke so much on the issues bothering on the Izon Nation, he explained that too much of politics has created disharmony and animosity amongst ourselves, and that if as a people continue in this manner, the Izon Nation will never get it right.

He stated clearly that the Izon Nation is at this point today because the said leaders have chosen their selfish purposes over the collective interest of many, he advised them to stop the habit of backbiting, disseminating falsehood, and rather concentrate their energy on the good of izon people.

Speaking further, he urged all sons and daughters of Izon-Ibe to keep party differences aside and pursue an agenda that will benefit izon people to bring about development, peace and unity. He pledged to continue to support activities aimed at uniting the Izon People, stating that only unity can move the Izon Nation forward.
