IYC: PARLIAMENT GIVES IT'S NEC 28DAYS TO SET UP ELECO

The mobile Parliament of the Ijaw Youths council worldwide, Under the distinguished Speakership of Rt. Hon. Mkpon Amon Ijonama, on the third(3) of November, at a meeting of its members held at Rosie Hotel, Eastern Zone, Port-Harcourt, has ordered the National Leadership of the Council to constitute Electoral committee for the conduction of polls within 28DAYS.

In a memo circulated, the parliament was acting in line with Article 7, Section 5, Sub section 7 page 16 of the council constitution.

In a Paragraph, the memo reads as follows: " That the NEC should put in place Electoral processes for ratification by the Parliament within 28days from the date of the meeting".
