Gov. Dickson, Apc Exchange words at Aso Rock Villa over Ogunboss

Following the meeting of Niger Delta leaders with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday at the villa, reports according to nextnews indicates that there was a mild drama between Gov. Henry Seriake Dickson and some supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa state.

It was reported that Governor Henry Seriake Dickson accompanied the leaders of the region to the villa to dialogue with the President on the need for a workable template in drifting away from its present situation.

Report also states that the said drama began when Gov. Dickson was talked down by a fmr. Ijaw youth leader and Niger Delta Activist, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri, who described the Governor's allegations as smear campaigns and an attempt to diminish and ridicule the personality of Paul Eris alias Ogun Boss, only because he refused to support him during the last Bayelsa Bayelsa Gubernatorial polls.

It was gatheted that Gov. Dickson laid some damning allegatioms about Paul Eris to the Service Chiefs in an attempt to launch a coordinated attack on him and keep him behind bars.

Nextnews reported that Dickson was more than embarrassed when another fmr. Ijaw youth leader, Hon Famous Daunemugha also rose to speak against his unfounded allegations.

Recall,  there have been a standing battle between Governor Dickson and Gen Ogunboss who’s loyalty to Chief Timipre Sylva and Apc has been unshakeable.

When contacted, youth leader Sir Lokpobiri confirmed the incident and said it was unfortunate for the governor to have labeled an innocent and peaceful man who’s sole aim is to ensure peace return back to the Niger Delta.
