Cult killings resumes in Yenagoa, 1 Feared dead as Residents now live in Fear
The Capital City of Bayelsa, Yenagoa in recent times have been a theatre of war following clashes by various rival groups.
Street shootings, raidings and cult attacks seems to have rise as various groups in the state are on the battle for supremacy.
Three days ago in Biogbolo, Custom road, a 19year old boy was reported to have been shot dead by members of opposition gang, another shooting suspected to be a reprisal attack was carried out at Nikton Junction, Kpansia Yenagoa, where a gang of boys opened fire on some others suspected to be rival gang, reports also has it that the gunshots hit the leg of one of the boys who is currently taking medication in an unknown destination.
Investigations further revealed that the Bayelsa state police command are on top of the issue as they are currently on a man hunt for the killers.
Meanwhile, some residents in the capital city have began to express worry for fear of furtger attacks.
One Mr. Ebipadei said "we do not understand why our children will be killing themselves, but with the recent happenings, I can no longer sleep with my eyes close, I now lock my doors by 5pm to avoid any issues"
