WHY OGBIA CLAN IS UNDER-DEVELOPED!

The story of under-development when it comes to Ogbia Local Government Area in Bayelsa State is no longer new to the ears of people. It is extremely clear to the blind and drastically loud to the deaf.

Ogbia Clan is one of the heavy weights concerning crude-oil production in and around Bayelsa State, Nigeria. It is also a home to many heavy weight politicians, billionaires.

One might want to ask why Ogbia Clan is under-developed where so many of the well-known rich politicians in Bayelsa State such as Chief Mitema Obordor (Member,  Bayelsa State House of Assembly), King Amalate J. Turnah, Hon. Claudius Enegesi (Ex House of Representative Member),  Hon. Adegadiza Festus Omoni (Member, House of Reps),  Hon. Clever Ikisikpo (A heavy weight wealthy politician), Asara A Asara, Hon. Anapurere Awoli, Hon. Nadu Karibo, Hon. Gibson Gbalimor (BSHA member), Hon. Love Amaseimogha (Former Local Government Chairlady and commissioner), George Turner (A wealthy politician), Dr. Azibapu Eruani (Ex commissioner of health in Bayelsa State) and above all, Dr Ebele Goodluck Jonathan (The immediate former President of Nigeria) among others hailed from this said Local Government Area (Ogbia) in Bayelsa State?.

This is a Local Government Area where civil servants are deprived of salaries, in some periods, about 10 - 13 months even when the federal allocation has been given to see the local government chairman.

A close source (name withheld) spoke to Bodmasnews that this massive wickedness is because the Chairman only answer the name of been a Chairman - and that as soon as the allocation gets to the LGA, the people who installed him make a huge cut of the money for themselves - thereby making it difficult to pay workers salaries.

It is also revealed via a systematic survey carried out by Bodmasnews that these group of people mentioned above are responsible for the massive underdevelopment of Ogbia Clan.

Dr Ebele Goodluck Jonathan continued to keep mute even when the people he worked with concerning major project executions failed fervently. They diverted the funds to their pockets by placing the LGA the way it is currently (ie, Underdeveloped) where there is no solid road linking the Local Government Area to the Bayelsa State Capital.

It is very obvious that the under-development of Ogbia Clan is as a result of bad leadership, selfishness, greediness and high-handedness of the top politicians in Ogbia Local Government Area.
