S/IJAW STUDENTS AWARDS MASTER AFRICANUS AS VOICE OF THE STRUGGLE

- Don't Join Cults groups, Africanus warns students.

YENAGOA : The Federated Union of Southern Ijaw Students (FUSIS) Worldwide led by it's National President, Comr. Prosper Yeri Dekumo paid a courtesy visit to the home of former Ex-militant leader and Chairman Bayelsa State water-ways security taskforce, Master Africanus Ukparasia, where they awarded him with a leadership recognition award as one who gave all he had to give the Ijaw Nation a voice, through his agitations for self determination and resource control.

The event which occurred at the Elebele residence of the Niger Delta leader, was filled with vibrations and life as the Students chanted and sang songs of Aluta.

Master Africanus Ukparasia who also welcomed the students to his domain appreciated them and gave them the floor to express their views.

Speaking for the students was it's National President, Comr. Prosper who first of all thanked the leader for opening his doors for them to come in, he introduced the group and stated it's objectives, he went ahead to say that the group was visiting all leaders of the Southern Ijaw Lga in order to consolidate their plans and also seek counsels. The group whom after stating the numerous achievements of the Niger Delta leader, gave him a leadership recognition award for his role in the actualisation of the Ijaw cause.

Master Africanus, who accepted the Award with gladness, thanked the students for finding him worthy and advised them to stay away from all manner of crimes and criminality as it will do them no good, he also advised them to concentrate on their studies and not to be distracted.
