Breaking: ASUU-NDU SET TO CALL OFF STRIKE ON MONDAY.

YENAGOA: Following the demands of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Niger Delta University chapter, where they asked the Bayelsa state government to pay a salary of two months before their actions will be called off. Surprisingly the Bayelsa state government on Friday 19th met the demands of the Union and asked the lecturers to return back to classes.

Today Sunday 21st, the union through it's official Facebook page has issued a statement calling on all of it's members to an emergency congress slated to hold On Monday 22nd.

Our source reveals that the intent of the Congress is bent on calling of its industrial action which the union embarked upon about four months ago.
