DEP. SPEAKER, DSHA MOURNS NWAKA'S FATHER
OSANEBI MOURNS WITH NWAKA OVER DEATH OF HER FATHER.
Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Osanebi Ossai Friday, has conveyed his condolence to Hon. Angela Nwaka, the Nwaka family of Ogwashi-Uku and the entire Aniocha South local government area over the death of their father, patriarch, leader,Pa Gabriel Nwafor Nwaka, 82.
The Deputy Speaker was visibly grieved when he paid a condolence visit to Hon. Angela Nwaka at the family house in Ogwashi-Uku , Aniocha South local government area yesterday.
Osanebi was accompanied on the visit by the commissioner representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission ( DESOPADEC) Hon Nnamdi Ezechi
The Deputy Speaker described the late patriarch as “a pillar and loving father”
Speaking with news men, the Deputy Speaker in an emotion-laden voice said: “We can't question God, we return all the glory to him".
He observed that the late Nwaka was a pillar of support to his daughter', family and all that came his way. Osanebi added that he will be greatly missed.
According to Osanebi, “Though it is so painful, devastating, we cannot question God’s decision".
He prayed that God should give his sister and friend, Hon. Angela Nwaka and the family the strength to bear the loss, asserting: “It is a big loss to all of us and we are also praying that God will give us the strength to bear the loss.”
The Deputy Speaker also signed the condolence register.
